What Are The Key Responsibilities
- You must collect ticket fares, check passengers’ tickets, and ensure they’re valid.
- You need to scan the Talinja cards of the passenger and ensure that all the passengers have valid Talinja cards during travel.
- You must communicate to the control room if there is any problem during travel or any incident with the safety risk of passengers.
- You must check the vehicle’s condition from time to time.
- You need to hand over the cash collected daily and null tickets at the end of your duty.
- You must travel on the route specified by the Company and reach the destination within a specified time frame.
- You must cooperate and coordinate with your service supervisor and do any other tasks required by the Company.
- You must prioritize safeguarding the passengers and leaving the bus by following all safety procedures.
What Are The Requirements
- You must have a local driving license, i.e., European B or D, and a professional competence certificate.
- You must have good police conduct.
- You must communicate in English and Maltese
- Willing to work on a shift basis
- You have to pass the medical exam and driving test
- If you have a B license, you must pass the driving test by Malta’s local authorities.
