Job Description
- Overseeing daily operations and the warehouse’s workforce.
- Managing, assessing, and reporting warehouse output.
- Coordinating the storage and reception of goods and ensuring their timely delivery, tracking, and coordination.
- Ordering goods and keeping appropriate stock levels.
- Verifying the accuracy of orders, bills, products received, inventory, and deliveries.
- Keeping records, reporting pertinent data, and creating any required documents.
- Ensuring fundamental maintenance requirements and adherence to health and safety guidelines.
- Inspecting the warehouse’s grounds every day.
- Coordinating and keeping up equipment and fleets.
- Interacting and coordinating with consumers and other departments.
Skills and Qualifications
- Requires a high school diploma or GED.
- Preferably, you have a degree in business, management, logistics, or a similar sector.
- Prior employment in a managerial role such as a warehouse supervisor.
- Strong practical expertise in managing and operating warehouses.
- Talents in delegation and time management.
- Excellent organizational and leadership abilities.
